The selected candidate will be assigned to the Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations (PTUS) project — a significant section of the Ontario Line being delivered through a joint venture between FCC Canada and Webuild Civil Works Inc.. The project involves the design and construction of twin tunnels, two underground stations, and related civil infrastructure.
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in maintaining and monitoring construction quality standards as defined in the Construction Quality Management Plan (CQMP). You will work under the supervision of the Construction Quality Control Manager, collaborating closely with engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure that all construction work complies with project specifications, design drawings, and inspection standards.

Execute and document all inspection and testing activities as outlined in the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
Verify that construction equipment is fit for purpose, properly calibrated, and maintained.
Identify and report non-conforming materials or construction work, ensuring corrective measures are implemented before continuation.
Coordinate quality activities among Quality Managers, Inspectors, and external authorities including Contracting Authorities, Utilities, and Governmental Bodies.
Review documentation and test packages prior to inspections to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Maintain comprehensive and organized quality control records for all assigned activities.
Assist in conducting audits and supporting ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Construction Quality Control Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in heavy civil construction, ideally with exposure to transit or infrastructure projects in Ontario.
Certification or formal training in quality control inspection and testing, especially within the construction industry.
