Boffo Developments Ltd, one of British Columbia’s most respected residential developers with over 50 years of history, invites applications for the role of Quality Control / Homeowner Care based in Burnaby, BC. The company has built thousands of homes and is renowned for creating exceptional residential communities throughout the Lower Mainland.

The Quality Control / Homeowner Care professional is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service throughout the construction and post-construction phases. This role focuses on quality assurance during home construction and managing post-construction homeowner concerns to foster client satisfaction and long-term loyalty. As a key representative of Boffo Developments Ltd, this position acts as the Client Care Manager to align customer satisfaction with organizational standards and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with trades and contractors to ensure timely home construction in line with overall project schedules.

  • Maintain a high standard of finish and quality across all homes.

  • Serve as the primary post-construction client contact to address and resolve concerns effectively.

  • Develop trust-based, strong relationships with clients to encourage long-term loyalty.

  • Collaborate with project teams to quickly and efficiently resolve warranty issues.

  • Manage the warranty claim process, ensuring all claims are processed professionally and promptly.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to manage post-construction service requests.

  • Oversee on-site warranty work performed by subcontractors and company employees.

  • Perform repairs to correct warranty issues when necessary.

  • Provide frequent updates to clients regarding service requests and warranty status.

  • Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, cabinetry, drywall, flooring, tile work, and painting.

  • Conduct inspections and maintenance of commercial and multi-family residential properties to ensure compliance with acceptable standards.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and WorkSafe B.C. regulations, reporting concerns to management promptly.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and promote a quality living experience for all residents.

  • Perform duties with strong attention to detail and in line with company standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction renovations and/or building operations.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.

  • Strong client management, conflict resolution, process improvement, and reporting skills.

  • Knowledge of post-construction services, warranties, and service agreements.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills alongside strong organizational and customer service abilities.

  • Skilled in using various hand and power tools, with the ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Punctual, reliable, trustworthy, highly motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Physically capable of performing the duties required by the position.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
