Our Banking client in Toronto, Ontario is looking to hire a QA / QC Test Analyst / Engineer for a 6-months contract role with strong possibility of renewal.
What You Will Do…
- Develop Test Strategies for Salesforce project delivery.
- Develop Test scenarios and queries for Salesforce, DB level and E2E testing scripts.
- Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Ability to produce dashboards and reports for sprints or code releases.
- Document software defects, and report to software developers.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Good understanding of testing standards and methodologies.
Must Have Skills
What you will need to succeed…
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce testing experience.
- Over 1 year of experience in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
- 2 + years' experience JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git suite and managing test cases, test plans using Jira plugins like X-ray or Zephyr.
- 3+ Prior Canadian or FI experience.
Nice To Have Skills
- Prior Scotiabank experience – asset.
- Some experience in database/backend testing. (Writing and verifying results of medium to high complexity SQL & PL/SQL queries).
- Experience working on end-to-end Software Testing Life Cycle projects.
