Description:

Unity Technologies is seeking a QA Developer to join their XR Input team in Montreal, QC, playing a critical role in shaping how users interact with Extended Reality (XR) platforms. This role bridges Quality Assurance (QA) and development, involving work on innovative features that have a global reach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with developers to define and improve testing strategies and feedback loops.

• Take ownership of and evolve test coverage for XR Input features using C# and Unity.

• Balance both automated and manual testing to ensure feature reliability, stability, and usability.

• Contribute hands-on to resolve testing challenges and remove development blockers.

• Share insights, test metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives across both local and global QA teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Unity and C# development.

• Hands-on experience with XR technology, either through development or testing roles.

• Ability to create, manage, and maintain automated tests.

• Solid grasp of test principles, CI/CD pipelines, and feedback-driven QA processes.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills:

• Experience with test infrastructure and automation pipelines.

• Knowledge of hardware input devices and user interaction models.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks, device SDKs, and related tools.

• Passion for shaping quality culture in interdisciplinary environments.

• Interest in mentoring and helping others grow in QA methodologies.
