Description:
Queen’s University is seeking a Psychologist to provide leadership in clinical training and service delivery at the Queen’s Psychology Clinic, a graduate training clinic for Clinical Psychology students. The Psychologist will supervise graduate students and trainees, provide direct clinical services, conduct psychological assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and support program evaluation.
Key responsibilities include: supervising and mentoring trainees, assessing and diagnosing mental health conditions, developing and leading clinical services, participating in strategic planning, and coordinating clinic operations. The Psychologist will also identify and pursue external funding opportunities, advise the Clinical Program, and support outreach initiatives.
Candidates must hold a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, be registered (or eligible) with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and demonstrate competency in assessment, therapy, and supervision. Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills are required, along with knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards.
