Description:
Sun Life is seeking a Prospr Advisor to join its dynamic team in Toronto. In this role, you will work a later shift (12 PM – 8 PM, Monday to Friday) providing holistic life, health, and wealth solutions for new and existing clients. As a licensed professional with LLQP and IFIC certifications (or ability to obtain), you will play a pivotal role in helping Canadians achieve financial security and live healthier lives.
You will engage clients over the phone and through digital tools, assessing their needs, providing tailored financial advice, and ensuring they are retirement-ready through the use of planning tools and risk assessments. The role requires proactive relationship management, strong knowledge of retail insurance and investment products, and the ability to deliver exceptional client experiences in a hybrid working environment (downtown Toronto office and remote).

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively contact and advise clients on insurance and investment solutions.
Assess financial needs and recommend appropriate products.
Conduct investment risk assessments and retirement planning.
Stay current on product and regulatory updates.
Maintain licensing in good standing as MFDA Dealing Representative and Insurance Advisor.
Support continuous improvement, team success, and client experience.
Collaborate with peers, managers, and branch leadership in a hybrid work model.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years relevant experience.
Valid Life License (LLQP) or eligibility to obtain immediately.
Strong sales and service background in insurance/financial products.
Knowledge of mutual fund industry, compliance, and dealer operations.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability, resourcefulness, and ability to work a flexible schedule (8 AM–8 PM availability).
Assets:
IFIC certification.
CFP/Fin. Pl. designation.
Call center/telephone servicing experience.
Knowledge of Sun Life products.
Experience with Salesforce CRM and digital client engagement tools.
