Description:

Deloitte is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager for its Property Tax team, open to candidates across Canada. This role is an opportunity to grow in a dynamic, client-facing environment, contributing to Deloitte’s expanding property tax practice. As part of a collaborative team, you will deliver value to clients across industries while enhancing your leadership, consulting, and technical expertise in property tax.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients on property tax engagements across diverse industries.

  • Lead and support the growth of Deloitte’s Property Tax practice in Canada.

  • Provide consulting and appeal services covering the full lifecycle of property assessments.

  • Partner with other Deloitte service lines (Tax, Audit, Financial Advisory, Consulting) on integrated client solutions.

  • Deliver exceptional client service as a trusted advisor while supporting both regional and national projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • College/University degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant property tax consulting experience (7+ years preferred).

  • Accredited/Candidate member of AIC (Appraisal Institute of Canada) or RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) preferred.

  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and relationship management skills.

  • Proven ability in property assessment consulting and appeals.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build new business.

  • Bilingualism (English & French) required due to national/global client base.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: CAD 84,000 – 140,000 per year (CAD 7,000 – 11,666 per month).
