Your challenges:
- Be responsible for supporting a highly strategic project linked to the continuity of the A220 Operations;
- Work closely with the Project Lead and the different stakeholders involved in the project;
- Make the required follow-up to ensure on time, on quality and on cost completion for the different project deliverables required at Airbus Canada level and also at Airbus Commercial level and also providing required status;
- Establish and manage governance for multidisciplinary teams, both internal and external to Airbus;
- Work in multifunctional team to identify and manage risks and opportunities related to the project;
- Implement the project structure required to follow the different needs and the different requirements related to the project in preparation for Day 1 of activities support;
- Implement the required governances;
- Make the follow-up based on the needs;
- Make projects follow-up based on the best practices (Standard BX, LBIP +, MG Management);
- Implement the cost management required to manage projects under your charge and to ensure the maintaining;
- Implement and keep alive the Risks and Opportunities related to your function to minimise them;
- Implement continuous improvements required in the framework of your functions;
- Collaborate with the other Business Partners of the same perimeter to put in place standards between the different areas of the A220 Operations;
- Work with specific project management tools and methodologies to ensure optimal execution
- Facilitate workshops, when necessary, to ensure everyone collaboration to meet our collective goals;
- Create synergies within the Project Management community by sharing experiences and best practices
Your boarding pass:
- You hold a Bachelor degree in Management, Project management, Engineering or a related field;
- You have strong demonstrated leadership skills and a high level of influencing skills;
- You have from ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in project or program management, in development management or equivalent;
- You have a high level of autonomous;
- You have experience in managing the performance of a project;
- You have experience in risk management inside a big company;
- You have industrial experience and are able to understand quickly a manufacturing sequence;
- You have knowledge of aeronautic design principles;
- You have knowledge of aeronautic manufacturing area;
- You are able to advocate for your position and views when needed;
- You have the ability to prioritize in a multi-project context and multi-priority context;
- You have time management ability;
- You are able to facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders and meet the objectives in a given time frame;
- You have communication skills andare able to synthesize information for an executive level;
- You are able to unite around share objectives;
- You have high sense of commitment and willingness to take responsibilities;
- You have the ability to learn quickly;
- You have strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills;
- You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently as part of a multifunctional team structure;
- You have experience and interest in aerospace;
- You have knowledge of aircraft change management & configuration management processes (an asset);
- You have experience in managing Transfer of Work (ToW) (an asset);
- You are fluent in French and English, both orally and in writing.
