Project Manager

 

Description:

The Project Manager will be an integral part of the Project Management Team, responsible for managing key IT projects and ensuring that deliverables meet specifications within scope, schedule, and budget. The position will involve overseeing large-scale IT projects, such as CRM implementations and cloud integrations, from initiation to completion. The role will require coordination with third-party vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

The resource will be involved in multiple projects, including the Linkin Platform Upgrade Project and Social Worker Information Network (SWIN) Detachment Project, which aim to modernize and upgrade existing systems to meet the future needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans in consultation with the Project Leadership Team and produce the Project Plan.

  • Ensure the project adheres to Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and methodologies.

  • Produce project deliverables on time, within budget, and to specification.

  • Monitor and report on project performance, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.

  • Provide timely communication on project risks, issues, and concerns to the team and Project Sponsors.

  • Organize and facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations for stakeholders.

  • Work with third-party vendors and partners to integrate their deliverables into the project plan.

  • Develop and negotiate project change requests, including scope, time, and cost adjustments.

  • Utilize platforms like ServiceNow and Azure DevOps to manage workflows, requirements, and project activities.

  • Manage large IT projects, including cloud integration and CRM implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, especially in IT projects.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps platforms.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Experience with cloud integrations and CRM implementations is an asset.

Project Specifics:

  • Linkin Platform Upgrade Project: Upgrading the Cúram Human Services platform to version 8.0.2 while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

  • SWIN Detachment Project: Modernizing the SWIN system by replacing outdated mainframe technologies and updating data retention policies to improve efficiency and compliance.
