As a Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of construction, renovation, and facility upgrade projects — shaping business cases, developing scopes, managing resources, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule alignment from concept to commissioning.

How You’ll Make An Impact
Prepare project plans, project schedules, risk mitigation and status reporting within project management methodologies.
Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process.
Work with Business Leaders and stakeholders to deliver complex multi-stream projects.
Work collaboratively across project/delivery teams and external parties.
Participate in cross-functional teams during design, proposal development, implementation and review.
Conduct analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
Escalate issues early to maintain schedule and scope.
Increase overall effectiveness, efficiency and profitability through operational improvements.
Lead construction project planning, including site assessments, feasibility evaluation, scope definition, and design coordination.
Manage contractors, consultants, trades, vendors, and inspectors, ensuring all work follows drawings, specifications, and building codes.
Track and control construction budgets, cash flow, contingencies, procurement, and change orders.
Conduct routine site visits, progress reviews, deficiency inspections, and status reporting.
Drive resolution of field issues, schedule risks, material delays, and interdependencies across multiple workstreams.
Ensure projects meet AMA construction standards and quality expectations from kickoff to occupancy.
What You Bring To The Table
Experience in interior design or retail design environments considered an asset.
Ability to collaborate with designers on space planning, finishes, millwork, and customer experience–driven layouts.
Post-secondary education in a related field.
8+ years of experience in project management.
PMP or construction-related designation considered an asset.
Exceptional communication with senior stakeholders.
Strength in planning, analysis, problem-solving, delivery, and communication.
Understanding of agile/lean still applicable if adapted to construction (optional).
You have at least 5 years leading construction, renovation, capital improvement, or facility development projects.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (stipulated sum, designbuild, CM, costplus).
Experience with construction tendering, RFP/RFQ processes, construction administration, and progress payment validation.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil drawings.
Experience with construction project controls: cost tracking, earned value, scheduling, risk assessments, change management.
Familiarity with building codes, OHS requirements, inspections, and quality assurance.
