Description:

Defence Construction Canada (CDC) is seeking candidates to join a pool of professionals for future positions in Construction Services and Project Management in Cold Lake, Alberta. CDC is a federal Crown corporation providing innovative, cost-effective services in procurement, construction contract management, infrastructure, and environmental support to meet Canada’s defence priorities.

This is a unique opportunity to participate in high-impact projects supporting national defence, including construction for the Cold Lake Fighter Squadron installation and infrastructure related to F-35 aircraft operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate construction services or manage projects as part of CDC’s team.

  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.

  • Contribute to planning, administration, and operational tasks for major defence infrastructure projects.

  • Support design, construction, and renovation of critical defence facilities, including offices, training centers, hangars, runways, and specialized maintenance facilities.

  • Adapt to change, solve complex problems, and contribute to team growth and organizational capacity.


Qualifications:

  • Coordinator, Construction Services: University degree in engineering, or college diploma in engineering, applied sciences, or related field.

  • Coordinator, Project Management: College diploma in engineering, architecture, or related field plus 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.

  • Open to new graduates.

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

  • Security clearance: minimum Reliability Status; some roles may require Secret level security clearance.
