Project Coordinator

Description:

Defence Construction Canada (CDC), a federal Crown corporation providing innovative and cost-effective construction, infrastructure, and environmental management services, is inviting candidates to apply for a talent pool for future project management positions in Cold Lake, AB. Applicants will not be hired for a specific position immediately but will be considered for future vacancies as they arise.

CDC has been supporting Canada’s national defense for over 70 years, contributing to critical infrastructure development including new fighter squadron facilities, F-35-related projects, and runway and ramp construction/renovation.

Available Positions:

1. Coordinator, Construction Services

   • College diploma in engineering, applied sciences, or a related field + 4 years relevant experience (or equivalent).

2. Coordinator, Environmental Services

   • College diploma in biology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field + 4 years relevant experience (or equivalent).

3. Technical Project Specialist

   • College diploma in engineering, architecture, or a related field + 4 years relevant experience (or equivalent).

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams and clients to achieve objectives with enthusiasm and adaptability.

• Contribute to CDC’s culture of problem-solving and teamwork.

• Participate in major construction projects such as fighter squadron facilities, airfield infrastructure, and other defense-related projects.

• Maintain communication with project stakeholders and report on project progress as required.

• Support relocation efforts to Cold Lake for new hires as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience combination.

• Eligible for security clearance: Reliability or Secret level.

• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing project needs and contribute to organizational growth.
