Description:

Parsons Corporation, a global leader in delivering critical infrastructure projects for over 80 years, is seeking a motivated Engineering Coordinator – Technical to join their Greater Toronto Region Operations Team. This role is ideal for candidates early in their career who want to contribute to impactful projects while developing their technical and project management expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.

As part of Parsons’ Critical Infrastructure team, you will be involved in coordinating transportation, transit, structures, environmental, and water projects. The role provides opportunities for career growth, networking, and exposure to a wide range of multidisciplinary engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project managers and cross-functional teams to define scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Maintain project documentation including schedules, budgets, reports, and design materials.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.

  • Oversee preparation of preliminary and detailed design drawings.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and technical requirements.

  • Support proposals, tenders, and client communications.

  • Prepare presentations, organize meetings, and manage follow-ups.

  • Represent Parsons at networking events and build professional relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or equivalent professional field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or engineering for infrastructure projects (transportation, water, environmental, or structural).

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Knowledge of Canadian transportation markets, regional municipalities, and provincial ministry clients is considered an asset.

  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with capability to work independently when required.
