CRADI is hiring a Chargé·e de projet (Project Coordinator) in Montreal for a hybrid, full-time, permanent role. This position offers an incredible opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to work at the heart of advocacy and community development in the field of intellectual disability and autism.
As a Project Coordinator, you will serve as a vital contributor to CRADI’s mission to create a more inclusive society. The role blends strategic vision, hands-on coordination, and strong community engagement, supporting the organization in its goals of collective mobilization, defense of rights, and project implementation across various social sectors such as inclusion, housing, transport, and citizen participation.
Main Responsibilities:
Mobilization & Community Engagement:
Foster dynamic relationships with member organizations through outreach, events, and regular communication
Organize and facilitate committees, assemblies, public events, and reflection workshops
Support mobilization efforts related to key social issues
Promote the expertise and active involvement of CRADI members in its community life
Project Coordination & Strategic Networking:
Lead and coordinate community-driven projects related to inclusion, civic engagement, and public services
Manage project logistics, budgets, and reporting
Identify new funding opportunities in collaboration with the executive director
Represent CRADI in strategic meetings and collaboration networks
Create reports, tools, and evaluations based on field insights
Rights Advocacy:
Document lived experiences of people with intellectual disabilities and autism
Conduct political and social monitoring on relevant issues (ID and ASD)
Co-author briefs, open letters, and public statements
Contribute to strategic campaigns and advocacy initiatives with the executive director
Communications Support:
Assist in creating content for social media, newsletters, and the website
Ensure accessible and clear communication with all stakeholders
Candidate Requirements:
Educational Background & Experience:
Degree in social work, political science, community development, communications, or related field
Proven experience coordinating projects or participating in consultation networks, ideally in a community setting
Comfortable with group facilitation and mobilization
Knowledge of intellectual disability (DI) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a strong asset
Passion for social justice and human rights advocacy
Skills & Attributes:
Autonomy, creativity, and initiative
Strong writing and interpersonal skills
Fluent in French (written and spoken); English is an asset
Proficiency with digital tools (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.)
What CRADI Offers:
Permanent full-time role (32–35 hours/week)
Monthly salary: CAD 2900–3200 (based on experience)
4 weeks vacation + 2 paid weeks during the holidays
