Program Manager

 

Description:

IQVIA, a global leader in clinical research services and healthcare intelligence, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Manager to oversee patient support programs from setup to ongoing monitoring. The ideal candidate will ensure the successful implementation, execution, and optimization of patient assistance initiatives while maintaining strong client relationships and adhering to operational excellence standards.

The Program Manager will act as the primary liaison between IQVIA and its clients, fostering positive relationships through proactive communication, efficient project delivery, and continuous performance evaluation. The role involves managing multiple stakeholders across internal and external teams, ensuring programs align with deliverables, timelines, and compliance requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients during post-sale and delivery phases of patient programs.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through transparent, timely, and effective communication.

  • Present program performance data, key metrics, and market insights to clients in a professional and analytical manner.

  • Support business development initiatives to expand relationships with existing and new clients.

  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and trust.

  • Travel to meet clients when necessary for relationship management or program reviews.

Project Management:

  • Provide consultation on pre-sales program design and setup.

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of assigned programs by managing timelines, budgets, deliverables, and resources.

  • Create comprehensive project plans detailing each phase of implementation and maintenance.

  • Accurately complete all intake forms and registration documentation to optimize delivery processes.

  • Identify project scope changes and escalate them appropriately to senior management.

  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure milestones are met and issues are addressed in real-time.

  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and delays.

  • Attend weekly business meetings to review revenue, project progress, and potential risks.

  • Adhere strictly to internal policies and utilize tools like Team Gantt, Confluence, and Jira for task management.

  • Review and approve creative artwork and process improvement initiatives.

Sales Order & Financial Management:

  • Oversee revenue forecasting, billing accuracy, and revenue recognition processes.

  • Ensure adherence to financial controls through the collection and verification of delivery proof documents.

  • Approve invoices accurately and ensure timely processing.

  • Collaborate with finance and sales management to resolve revenue-related discrepancies or delays.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities in both English and French (bilingualism considered a strong asset).

  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and documentation precision.

  • Proven ability to lead meetings, presentations, and cross-functional discussions.

  • Adaptability and analytical thinking to solve complex problems effectively.

  • Strong client service orientation with healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • 3–5 years of proven project management experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • In-depth understanding of Patient Support Programs (PSPs) and drug reimbursement processes preferred.

  • Functional fluency in English and French required to work with international teams.
