Product Specialist

 

Description:

We’re looking for a self-driven Product Specialist to champion the implementation and development of our products. Initially, the focus is to learn our solutions and their unique offerings and propose various priorities. The scope will expand to include product development and improvement. We’re a small team and recognize this is a unique role within the product space. Ultimately, our ideal candidate possesses excellent technical and communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

  • Driving new product and feature development, including prioritization, testing and implementation.
  • Has sufficient technical skills to test online forms and report interfaces, make CSS suggestions, implement web pages, design forms/applications.
  • Working effectively with a small team.
  • Supporting the library community.

 

Our team is primarily located in Canada but we each work virtually, using various online collaboration tools and technologies. This is a remote-friendly role with the potential for occasional travel. Applicant preference is for those located in Canada and in the Eastern Time zone.

 

Technical requirements

  • HTML/ Javascript / CSS: Expert experience with developing, debugging, implementation
  • Json Data Arrays: Familiarity with handling Json data arrays to drive various interfaces in capturing and reporting data.
  • Testing and Debugging: Comfortable with comprehensive testing and debugging not only your own work but others as well.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation as well as end user documentation so non-programmatic users can implement various products/widgets/tools.
