Mastercard, a global leader in payment technology and innovation, is seeking a Manager, Product Solutions and Customer Engagement to support the expansion of its cutting-edge platform, Consumer Clarity. This role is based in North York, Ontario and offers a hybrid working arrangement. As part of Mastercard’s Services team, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing solution consultancy and driving product adoption among both issuers and merchants by offering technically sound and business-aligned value propositions.

This position plays a key role in enabling customer-centric digital transformation by showcasing how Mastercard’s Consumer Clarity solution enhances transparency, minimizes chargebacks and disputes, and improves the customer experience. It is ideally suited for a professional who blends technical fluency, business insight, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

🟩 Pre-Sales and Product Expertise

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on the Consumer Clarity platform, its architecture, and its business impact.

  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations tailored to client pain points and objectives.

  • Participate in RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work (SOWs), technical evaluations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).

🟩 Client Engagement & Strategic Solutions

  • Translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions with clearly articulated ROI and business value.

  • Cultivate trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor.

  • Present and refine solution proposals that align with complex prospect requirements.

🟩 Collaboration and Communication

  • Partner with sales, marketing, product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless sales lifecycle.

  • Assist in transitioning accounts smoothly from pre-sales to implementation phases.

  • Create and improve a pre-sales playbook, as well as customer-facing collateral such as technical specifications and design documents.

🟩 Product Development Feedback Loop

  • Gather client feedback and industry insights to inform product direction and enhancements.

  • Identify new market opportunities, integration pathways, and strategic partnerships.

🟩 Security and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to Mastercard’s information security policies.

  • Maintain confidentiality and report any suspected data breaches or security issues.

  • Complete all mandatory security training in line with company standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of digital banking platforms, APIs, system architecture, and UX principles.

  • Skilled in solution storytelling and adapting messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience creating tailored product demos, proposals, and solution documentation.

  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.

  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet clients and prospects.

Preferred Background:

  • Deep understanding of the payments industry, including disputes, chargebacks, and merchant-issuer interactions.

  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale clients and B2B SaaS platforms.

  • Experience in sales engineering, solution architecture, or product consulting roles.
