Product Sales Executive

 

Description:

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is actively seeking a Product Sales Executive (PSE) for its Chemistry and Immunoassay portfolio. This is a remote full-time role, primarily focused on Ontario and Manitoba, and aimed at expanding the adoption of advanced diagnostics solutions in hospitals and reference laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Chemistry and Immunoassay diagnostic solutions.

  • Execute a strategic sales plan using funnel management techniques to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

  • Present and promote Beckman Coulter’s systems—including hardware, reagents, and applications—by aligning product capabilities with client business needs.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, understanding their technical and business requirements.

  • Engage with multiple internal resources (service, applications, IT specialists, leadership, etc.) to deliver a unified customer solution.

  • Navigate complex, long-term sales cycles (often lasting years), involving multiple stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a scientific discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of laboratory or diagnostic sales experience, especially with capital equipment.

  • Strong grasp of hospital laboratory workflows, Chemistry/Immunoassay systems, and related operational challenges.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and technical negotiation skills.

  • Strong time and territory management abilities.

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPI and Lean certifications.

  • Deep understanding of tactical sales methods including prospecting, qualifying, closing, and customer retention.
