Description:
The mission of the SEO expert is to ensure that SEO is a pillar of the growth of Bell Media’s digital properties and revenues. Within the Montreal-based Digital Performance department, he has the following responsibilities:
Job Duties/ Accountabilities:
- Audits and analyzes of each site and digital platform
- Preparation of annual SEO product plans with the managers of each property: inventory, priorities, planning, objectives
- Monitoring of the implementation of plans and recommendations
- Harmonization of practices and tools on all platforms: Consolidation of methods and KPIs used
- Watch: Competition, market, trends, news. Communication and information sharing
- Implementation of specific SEO processes and follow-ups for Audio and Video content
- Tailor-made SEO training sessions (product managers, journalists, freelancers, content managers) written and oral
- Writing of SEO guides and reference documents for the different teams (Product, Editorial, Technical)
Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in SEO and performance marketing, with measurable results obtained
- Knowledge of best practices and SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Moz, SEMrush, ...)
- Knowledge of search engine ranking factors and algorithms
- Analytical mind,
- Great sense of responsibility and organization,
- Numbers oriented with great attention to detail. Capable of handling complex data. Proficiency in Excel and pivot tables, an asset
- Knowledge of performance marketing, conversion and audience acquisition techniques
- Excellent communicator, with writing skills in French and English
- Ability to work both alone and in a team, under tight deadlines and on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Bilingual French-English
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, SimilarWeb, SiteImprove: an asset
- Google Analytics, Google Ads, Adobe Analytics certification: an asset
- Professional knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development and constraints: an asset
