Product Designer

Description:

Illumin, a company transforming the advertising landscape, is seeking a Product Designer to join their product-led team. The role reports to the Director of Product Design and Research and involves working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to craft intuitive and engaging user experiences. This position emphasizes research, prototyping, and high-fidelity design to create seamless digital experiences that align with business objectives and advocate for user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design process, owning the full product design lifecycle from concept to execution.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design goals align with business objectives.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements.

• Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries for consistency and scalability.

• Champion UX/UI best practices and accessibility standards.

• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the product design process.

Qualifications:

• Experience in product or UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, interaction design, and visual storytelling.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Understanding of design systems, component libraries, and responsive design principles.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

• Skilled in user research methodologies and data-driven design improvements.

• Ability to thrive in an Agile, cross-functional environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present and defend design decisions.

• Curiosity and growth mindset to continuously improve skills and stay updated on emerging trends.
