Procurement Manager

Description:

E Sentire, a leading authority in Managed Detection and Response (MDR), is seeking a skilled Manager, Procurement to lead and manage technology procurement across all spend areas, with a focus on software, cloud, OEMs, and hardware. The role involves driving cost optimization, negotiating favorable terms, managing renewals, and ensuring timely procurement of solutions that support the organization’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategies across SaaS, cloud, OEM/resell, and hardware categories to reduce total cost of ownership and enhance supplier performance.

• Manage SaaS portfolio rationalization, vendor consolidation, and optimize license tiers and terms.

• Oversee renewals, negotiate contracts (pricing, SLAs, data security, IP, liability caps), and prevent auto-renewal surprises.

• Conduct RFP processes, perform TCO analyses, establish supplier scorecards, and manage risk with security collaboration.

• Drive compliance with purchasing policies, reduce maverick spend, and maintain contract coverage.

• Create and analyze procurement dashboards in NetSuite/Excel/BI, reporting savings, PPV, cycle time, and KPIs.

• Supervise a Procurement Specialist, providing coaching, prioritization, and growth opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in technology categories with proven leadership or team management background.

• Strong contract negotiation skills and knowledge of MSAs, DPAs, SOWs, and data protection regulations (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, PIPEDA).

• Experience with SaaS renewal management, vendor consolidation, and cloud cost optimization (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Proficiency in NetSuite, Salesforce, Agiloft, and advanced Excel; BI tools are a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, or related field; CPSM/MCIPS is an asset.
