Caylent, a cloud-native services company specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS), is seeking a highly skilled Principal Strategist to join its growing Financial Services Practice. As a fully remote, global company with employees across Canada, the US, and Latin America, Caylent places people first and fosters a culture of technological curiosity, inclusivity, and continuous learning.

In this leadership role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to strategic financial services clients, guiding them through their cloud transformation journey while bridging business and technology. You will define and measure business value, develop strategic roadmaps, and help clients enhance adaptability, resilience, and long-term AWS value delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing actionable strategies from complex business challenges, constructing business value narratives, and aligning stakeholders across client organizations.

• Advising clients on their cloud evolution journey, ensuring direction, alignment, and informed decision-making by translating technical solutions into measurable business impact.

• Driving growth within strategic accounts, uncovering opportunities following assessments or roadmapping engagements, and collaborating with internal teams to develop solutions.

• Leading large-scale financial services cloud transformation programs within domains such as cloud modernization, AI enablement strategy, data governance, cloud operating models, and service/product design.

• Achieving KPIs including utilization targets, pipeline influence, and high client satisfaction scores.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years in consulting or technology leadership, specifically in cloud and digital transformation.

• Extensive experience in the Financial Services industry (banking, insurance, fintech, capital markets, wealth management).

• Proven success delivering large, complex enterprise projects and securing repeat client engagements.

• Strong expertise in AWS, agile delivery, public cloud infrastructure, and business transformation.

• Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to translate technical strategy into clear business outcomes.

• Flexibility to travel for project kick-offs and milestone engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Agile, or HashiCorp.

• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization, serverless technologies, security best practices, and containerized architecture.

• Experience consulting with Fortune 2000 clients.
