Principal Platform Architect

Description:

The Principal Platform Architect plays a technical advisory role, helping customers establish a solid foundation in the ServiceNow platform and design solutions that drive business outcomes. Key responsibilities include advising on instance strategy, technical governance, core data, integrations, and the overall technical health of the platform. This role works closely with executive teams, platform owners, enterprise architects, and development teams during the implementation of solutions.

The ideal candidate should have senior-level experience in enterprise architecture, management consulting, or a cloud software company, and a proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives. The role involves translating business objectives into outcomes and guiding customers in adopting ServiceNow’s best practices and technical frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strong relationships with CIOs and business leaders to understand the client’s vision and drive digital transformation.

• Analyze and translate business requirements into architectural solutions.

• Position ServiceNow as the central platform for digital transformation.

• Establish and manage technical governance processes.

• Ensure successful platform implementations, user adoption, and ongoing support.

• Advocate ServiceNow’s best practices and industry use cases.

• Contribute thought leadership in the form of methodologies and white papers.

• Support the sales effort in scoping and estimating customer needs.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in management consulting, focusing on technology strategy, governance, data, and solution design.

• Strong experience in enterprise architecture, including certifications like TOGAF or IT4IT.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform.

• Strong understanding of cloud applications, integrations, and large program management.
