Description:
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), in collaboration with the Misericordia Health Centre (MHC), is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join the Clinical Resource Team. This role functions as a House Medical Officer, with a primary focus on eye care assessments and primary care–level evaluations. In addition, the physician will be responsible for addressing unscheduled or urgent general medical issues within the hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct primary care–level eye assessments within the hospital.
Respond to urgent and unscheduled general medical issues as required.
Collaborate with specialists and hospital teams to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in ongoing training and orientation provided by WRHA/MHC.
Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in alignment with WRHA’s standards.
Qualifications:
Eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM).
CCFP eligible or certified.
Must be eligible for a medical staff appointment with WRHA.
Strong communication, clinical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary hospital teams.
