Le Réseau, a well-recognized organization focused on addiction prevention, social reintegration, and relapse prevention, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Intervenant.e en prévention des dépendances to join its new initiative for workplace-based addiction prevention and intervention.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to workers in various companies, while also raising awareness about addiction prevention within professional environments. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant social impact by helping individuals and organizations develop healthier and more sustainable approaches to addiction prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct addiction prevention and awareness activities within companies, including setting up promotional booths and participating in networking events through local chambers of commerce.

• Develop and deliver workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs tailored for businesses and their employees.

• Carry out early detection, motivational intervention, referrals, and reintegration support for individuals in need.

• Collaborate on the development of new prevention and training materials.

• Participate in research and fundraising initiatives to strengthen the organization’s reach and sustainability.

• Ensure visibility of the organization, actively engage stakeholders, and promote community mobilization.

Candidate Profile:

• College diploma in a social field (social work, psychology, intervention, community support, or related discipline).

• Strong skills in group facilitation, public speaking, and community engagement.

• Commitment to prevention, social values, and ethics aligned with Le Réseau.

• Ability to build professional relationships and maintain high standards of interpersonal communication.

• Organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in French.

• Willingness to travel frequently across the MRC regions of Northern Lanaudière (Autray, Joliette, Matawinie, and Montcalm).

Benefits & Work Conditions:

• Base salary of 25 CAD per hour (with potential adjustments based on experience and certifications).

• 4 weeks of vacation after one year of service.
