The Practice Manager will lead the practice’s operations, financial management, and client relations while also ensuring compliance and implementing strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and provide feedback to the team; manage staffing and recruitment activities; ensure performance evaluations and job changes are processed.

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality care; implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs); manage scheduling, inventory, and facility maintenance; communicate corporate policies.

  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the practice’s budget; analyze financial reports and implement cost-saving measures; ensure financial compliance.

  • Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients; address client concerns promptly and improve retention; coordinate communication between clients and veterinarians.

  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols; maintain accurate records and prepare for inspections and audits.

  • Marketing & Community Outreach: Implement local marketing initiatives and engage with the community; promote the practice through events and outreach programs.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement business plans; monitor and improve strategic initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience

  • Healthcare experience is an asset

  • Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills

  • Client-focused with critical thinking and financial acumen

  • Proficient in IT and practice management systems

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration preferred
