Portfolio Manager

 

Description:

The Portfolio Manager in personal insurance manages a portfolio of approximately 1,000 policies, providing personalized service, handling client calls, managing renewals, and contributing to business development by underwriting new proposals. The role ensures high-quality service, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and professional service for daily client needs.

  • Maintain rigorous documentation according to HUB and AMF standards.

  • Manage client files and related activities.

  • Prepare placement strategies, service offers, insurance summaries, and condition comparisons.

  • Submit requests to insurers and perform necessary follow-ups.

  • Verify policy accuracy and manage corrections.

  • Prepare quotes for insurers, client proposals, and coverage notes.

  • Draft instructions for insurance certificates and billing, ensuring compliance.

  • Monitor accounts receivable and handle discrepancies.

  • Ensure proper processing of renewals.


Qualifications:

  • College diploma.

  • Valid AMF license – Personal Property and Casualty Insurance.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

  • Excellent command of French (oral and written).

  • Good command of English for international client communication.
