As a Portfolio Manager for Complex Risks, you will play a vital role in supporting one or more Account Directors by managing daily client services, coordinating renewals, handling new business opportunities, and ensuring seamless insurance placements. You will be a key contributor in maintaining client satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency, supported by experienced marketing and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt and professional client service for all daily insurance needs.

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for all client files in line with HUB and regulatory standards.

• Manage client accounts efficiently, ensuring all activities and communications are properly recorded.

• Participate in insurance placement strategy development and the preparation of submissions to insurers.

• Prepare and transmit insurance requests, quotes, proposals, coverage notes, and summaries.

• Conduct thorough follow-ups with insurers and clients to ensure smooth processes.

• Verify the accuracy of policies, endorsements, and certificates, initiating necessary corrections.

• Draft and review billing instructions to ensure accuracy and proper processing.

• Support the collection and reconciliation of accounts receivable, resolving discrepancies when necessary.

• Collaborate closely with marketing teams, technical assistants, and other account managers to streamline workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: College diploma (Diplôme d’études collégiales – DEC).

• Licensing: Valid AMF license in Assurance de dommages des entreprises (Commercial Damage Insurance).

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management or a similar field.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced level).

  • Knowledge of EPIC insurance software (asset).

• Languages:

  • Excellent command of French (oral and written).

  • Proficiency in English required for communication with international clients.
