Personal Support Worker

Description:

Closing the Gap Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide exceptional care to clients in the community. This role involves delivering personal care, respite services, and assistance with activities of daily living while ensuring safety, comfort, and respect for each client.

This opportunity also includes access to the Health Force Ontario PSW Incentive Program, offering up to $10,000 for a 12-month full-time commitment (terms and conditions apply).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, and respite services to clients in community settings.

• Work independently while being supported by a Client Services Supervisor and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Ensure client safety, dignity, and quality of life at all times.

• Build and maintain respectful working relationships with clients and their families.

• Maintain accountability for timely reporting, deliverables, and high-quality care.

Required Qualifications:

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent from a recognized institution.

• Valid Canadian driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

• Eligible to work in Canada.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
