SiteTalent is currently hiring for a People & Culture Coordinator on behalf of a dynamic construction company based in Vancouver, BC. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of human resources functions, particularly in onboarding, recruitment, document preparation, employee engagement, and HRIS (BambooHR) management. This role will also play a key part in promoting company culture through internal events and employee recognition programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a personalized and inclusive onboarding experience for all new hires by organizing and managing onboarding logistics using HRIS tools.
Provide end-to-end recruitment support, including creating job descriptions, shortlisting candidates, and facilitating onboarding processes.
Draft and manage employment documentation, such as offer letters, termination letters, disciplinary notices, and internal investigation notes.
Maintain and optimize the BambooHR platform, including system upgrades, module development, data accuracy, and ongoing configuration to improve user experience.
Collaborate with the Office Administrator to design and organize employee engagement initiatives and company-wide cultural events.
Participate in and promote employee recognition programs and ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative workplace environment.
Support initiatives to create a strong employer brand and contribute to the continuous development of HR processes and tools.
Take part in other HR-related projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is considered an asset.
1–3+ years of experience in a People & Culture or HR role is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt priorities and meet the demands of a fast-paced, high-volume workload.
Emerging skills in coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across various organizational levels.
Strong interest in employment laws and HR compliance at the Canadian federal and provincial levels.
Advanced technical proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms like BambooHR.
Commitment to personal growth, professional development, and keeping up-to-date with HR best practices and trends.
What They Offer:
Salary: CAD 65000 to 80000 annually (flexible based on experience), equivalent to CAD 5000 to 6666 monthly
Vacation: 2–3 weeks of paid vacation annually
