Description:
Edmonton Airports is seeking a dynamic and resourceful People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator to join its People & Culture team. Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, this position plays a vital role in supporting full-cycle recruitment, employee experience, and a variety of HR-related administrative and engagement initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, communicative, and passionate about improving employee experience within a fast-paced and evolving organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver full-cycle talent acquisition, managing multiple requirements at once, from job postings to offer letters.
Enhance recruitment processes including resume screening, interview coordination/conduction, and recruitment file management.
Create and deliver P&C programs that align with departmental objectives and organizational culture.
Act as a first-line contact for all P&C-related inquiries, providing excellent internal customer service.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition for incoming and outgoing team members.
Administer engagement initiatives such as the Applause Program, Care Packages, Volunteering Events, and Years of Service recognition.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the P&C team including scheduling, event coordination, and document preparation.
Maintain HRIS data integrity, ensuring policy compliance and record accuracy.
Qualifications:
A university or college certificate/diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, with strong knowledge of recruitment best practices.
CPHR designation or working towards it is considered an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Excellent organizational skills and adaptability in uncertain or evolving environments.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure airport security clearance along with a clean criminal record check.
