Description:

Deloitte Canada is seeking a Manager – Payroll Managed Services to join its Payroll as a Service offering. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional with deep Dayforce expertise and the ability to oversee payroll operations across multiple platforms. The Manager will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in payroll delivery while providing exceptional service to Deloitte’s diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review payroll prepared by the team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

  • Leverage advanced Dayforce expertise to troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure payroll quality.

  • Oversee payroll across platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, and QuickBooks.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation, tax laws, and labor regulations.

  • Implement and monitor strong controls to ensure payroll data integrity.

  • Collaborate with advisory teams on audits, compliance reviews, and corrective actions.

  • Act as a point of escalation for client payroll inquiries and ensure tailored solutions.

  • Support implementation teams in delivering successful Dayforce rollouts.

  • Mentor and guide team members, contributing to a high-performance culture.

Requirements:

  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation from the National Payroll Institute.

  • 5–10 years of experience in payroll processing/review in a managed services environment.

  • Proven Dayforce expertise; ability to adapt quickly to platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, ADP, and QuickBooks.

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll; international experience is an asset.

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Compensation & Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary of $90,000 – $150,000 annually, with bonus eligibility. Deloitte’s Total Rewards Package includes:
