Description:

The Payroll & Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing the Company benefits program and processing of the Salary/Hourly weekly payrolls in accordance with applicable government legislation. This position is a payroll & benefits related reporting and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Process salaried/hourly payrolls, perform payroll balance processes

Maintain and update all employee rates, salaries, banking information, vacation/absence details, and position and status changes in the payroll system

Calculate/process manual payments as required ensuring Employment Standards compliance

Process annual salary increases and bonus payments by in payroll system, verifying accuracy of data and generating payments Respond to departmental and employee queries in a timely manner Manage all administrative payroll functions including generating ROE’s, Benefits and Pension enrolments.
