Description:
The IT Environment Lead is responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of all non-production and production environments supporting the Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) application and its integrated boundary systems. This role ensures environment availability, configuration consistency, and readiness across development, testing, training, and production stages of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, setup, and maintenance of all IT environments (DEV, SIT, UAT, Training, Pre-Prod, and PROD) for Oracle CC&B and associated boundary systems.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and database teams to ensure environments are provisioned, patched, and configured according to project timelines.
- Manage environment refreshes, cloning, and data masking activities in collaboration with DBAs and system administrators.
- Maintain an environment management plan, including environment topology, usage schedules, and refresh calendars.
- Support test teams by ensuring environment readiness for functional, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues, escalating to vendors or internal teams as needed.
- Track and manage environment-related risks, dependencies, and changes.
- Collaborate with cutover, release, and deployment teams to ensure smooth transitions between environments.
- Maintain documentation for environment configurations, access controls, and operational procedures.
