Operator Supervisor

 

Description:

We are seeking a Fulfillment Engineering & Operator Supervisor to oversee and manage daily fulfillment operations at our Brantford, ON location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fulfillment engineering, team leadership, and quality control within a technology manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

  • Lead and supervise a team of fulfillment operators with performance management and daily guidance

  • Motivate the team to meet productivity and quality targets

  • Manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate task completion

  • Address any personnel concerns and promote a collaborative team environment

Fulfillment Process Management:

  • Oversee the entire fulfillment lifecycle – from order intake to final shipment

  • Maintain accuracy in order processing, inventory updates, and shipping protocols

  • Resolve workflow and operational issues to maintain process integrity

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor stock levels and address shortages or surpluses proactively

  • Maintain accurate records in inventory and warehouse systems

  • Conduct and participate in inventory and cycle counts

Customer Service:

  • Address customer inquiries related to fulfillment and shipping

  • Ensure timely and precise order fulfillment for positive customer experiences

Training and Development:

  • Train new hires on customer requirements, company processes, and work instructions

  • Provide continuous learning and coaching to existing staff

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of training programs

Quality Control:

  • Enforce quality standards across fulfillment processes

  • Implement measures to minimize errors and ensure compliance with company policies

Safety:

  • Promote and enforce a safe working environment

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Communication:

  • Maintain effective communication with CFS Engineers, operators, managers, and PMs

  • Communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback clearly

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other responsibilities as directed by management


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a fulfillment engineering role in a technology manufacturing setting

  • Demonstrated team leadership and personnel management skills

  • Proficiency with warehouse and inventory management systems

  • Familiarity with IT technologies: ServiceNow, InTune, AutoPilot, Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, mobile devices, and tablets

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
