🚨 Job Opportunity: Full-Time Offshore Operations Manager – CPA Firm (Canada-based)

Location: Remote (India-based, working exclusively for Canadian CPA Firm)

Position Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Contract (Minimum 2 Years)

Work Days: Mon–Fri (8 hrs/day) | Extended hours during Jan–April tax season

Leave Policy: 14 Paid Leaves + 4 Festival Holidays | Comp-offs for weekend work

🌐 About the Role:

We are hiring a skilled and dedicated Offshore Operations Manager to support a reputed Canada-based CPA firm. This role includes full-spectrum responsibility for tax season execution, off-season workflow optimization, and team management from India.

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

🧮 Tax Season (Jan–Apr):

Oversee timely filing of T1 & T2 Tax Returns (Canada & US)

Review returns for compliance and accuracy

Lead training for staff on tax laws and software

Ensure quality service and resolve client tax inquiries

🗂 Off-Season (May–Dec):

Supervise bookkeeping and review of financial statements

Train, lead, and monitor Indian team performance

Optimize processes for inter-team workflow

Oversee IT, vendor management, compliance & budgeting

Manage special projects (e.g., client onboarding, system upgrades)

👥 Ideal Candidate Should Have:

5+ years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, or operations

Proven knowledge of Canadian & US taxation

Strong leadership and communication skills

Proficiency with accounting tools & cloud software

Ability to work Canadian time zone hours
