To further scale our mission of transforming convenience shopping, we are hiring a dynamic Operations Manager to lead and standardize operations, ensure efficiency, and drive excellence across both corporate-owned and franchise locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Multi-Site Leadership: Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations across all KaleMart24 locations to ensure consistency, exceptional service, and operational efficiency.

  • Supply Chain & Logistics: Manage supplier relationships and optimize supply chain performance to ensure timely and efficient distribution.

  • Franchise Collaboration: Work closely with franchisees to implement standardized operational protocols and foster a culture of excellence and compliance.

  • Training & Support: Develop robust training programs and tools to support franchisee onboarding, employee development, and operational consistency.

  • AI Integration: Utilize AI-powered systems to enhance planogram design, product placement, inventory control, and waste reduction.

  • Performance Improvement: Launch continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workflow efficiency, elevate customer satisfaction, and reduce operational costs.

  • Culture & Leadership: Partner with the CEO and management team to build a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor sales and operational metrics to identify trends, set goals, and drive strategic decision-making.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, retail standards, and internal policies.

  • Financial Oversight: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to align operations with the company’s growth and profitability goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in retail, grocery, or food service sectors.

  • Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to mentor and grow teams.

  • Exceptional organizational and analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

  • Experience handling complex projects such as store openings, system rollouts, and new product launches.

  • Familiarity with retail POS systems and inventory management tools such as Shopify.

  • Passion for health-conscious living, sustainability, and ethical retail practices.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a strong asset.
