Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for all Ontario construction operations.

• Partner with Barton Malow leadership and affiliates to develop market and business strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

• Support and facilitate client contract negotiations, preconstruction planning, and business partnership agreements.

• Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements.

• Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team through mentorship and proactive workforce management.

• Drive business growth by expanding Barton Malow Canada’s capabilities in energy, automotive, and mission-critical sectors.

• Support strategic business development efforts and cultivate relationships with clients to identify new opportunities.

• Manage financial forecasting, project budgets, and change orders, ensuring compliance with company standards.

• Oversee weekly financial reporting to track operational and fiscal performance.

• Ensure all projects are executed safely, with a strong focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

• Contribute to the creation and execution of the annual business plan for Barton Malow Canada.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• Experience: 10–15+ years in construction management with a large-scale general contractor, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity managing multiple projects.

• Proven track record in operational and financial performance management of a business unit.

• Strong relationships and professional presence within the construction and industrial sectors.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, teams, and stakeholders.

• Expertise in contract assessment and negotiation.

• Demonstrated strategic leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in financial forecasting, revenue projections, and business development strategy.

• Ability to travel within Ontario and across Canada as needed (estimated 25–40%).
