Position Overview
Reporting to Beakerheads Executive Director, the Operations Architect will be a motivated and dynamic
Individual responsible for managing the operational administration and business development needs for
Beakerhead. They work in collaboration with Beakerheads internal and external stakeholders that fortify
the strategic direction and long-term sustainability of Beakerhead programming.

This position requires strong organizational and planning skills, exceptional communications and
problem-solving initiative, flexibility, curiosity, creativity, and a passion for creating strong partnerships
through captive organizational storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates integration of Beakerheads operations with Spark including accounting,

advancement, marketing, and education.

  • Assume responsibility for the management of organizational information; this includes the

accurate filing of documents, and maintaining and acting as the system administrator for
organizational software systems (such as GSuite, Monday, etc.).

  • Support the Executive Director in maintaining collaborative relationships with community

partners, sponsors, volunteers, and committees.

  • Works in collaboration with the Advancement team to identify and qualify prospects to develop

plans for strategic engagement with key stakeholders.

  • Assists in the implementation of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for gift

prospects and granting agencies.

  • Provide compelling copywriting support for grants, sponsor relations, and organizational reports

  • Coordinate and attend organizational meetings, accurately record minutes, and document and

assign follow-up.

  • Develop and produce reports for a variety of internal and external stakeholders in partnership

with Sparks communications team.

  • Facilitates the implementation of communication and marketing strategies in collaboration with

Spark marketing and communications team

  • Ensure personal and team activities are aligned with business and strategic goals of Spark as a

whole.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative support role with demonstrated career

development; preferably in an Executive Office.

  • Experience with digital marketing, social media and copywriting with competency using Adobe

pro, and scheduling platforms.

  • Fluency in Raiser’s Edge, NXT or similar fundraising software is required as well as able to use

most platforms.

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and fiscal oversight.
  • Strong ethics and ability to manage confidential data if required.
