Description:
AstraZeneca, a global biopharmaceutical leader, is seeking a dedicated and strategically-driven Oncology Sales Representative to join their GI Oncology division, focused on the Quebec territory, covering Montreal, Quebec City, and Northern Quebec. This is a remote role reporting to the National Sales Manager, offering the opportunity to shape cancer care through innovative oncology therapies such as Imfinzi and Imjudo.
This position is ideal for individuals with strong scientific acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for advancing cancer care. As part of AstraZeneca’s fastest-growing oncology team, you will collaborate closely with medical and commercial units, delivering value through strategic stakeholder engagement and scientific excellence.
Strengthen AstraZeneca’s footprint in gastrointestinal oncology and drive territory growth through new indication launches over the coming years.
Develop and implement effective, cross-functional business strategies to surpass sales targets within allocated budgets.
Deliver impactful scientific and clinical messages to high-level researchers and clinicians using multi-channel strategies (in-person and virtual).
Build and maintain influential relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across major healthcare centers by analyzing issues and providing innovative solutions.
Organize and execute scientific symposiums and speaker programs in collaboration with Sales, Brand, and Medical Affairs teams.
Ensure full compliance with external regulations, internal policies, and training requirements.
Promote knowledge-sharing and contribute to continuous improvement through team collaboration and common platforms.
Collect and report adverse event data in line with AstraZeneca's pharmacovigilance policies.
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences and/or Business.
Fluent in French and English.
10+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with proven success in specialty care. Oncology sales experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and establish credibility quickly.
Experience managing multiple priorities across diverse tumor types and specialists.
Expertise in engaging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) such as oncologists within complex clinical environments and key accounts.
Strong planning and program development skills to address issues and improve patient outcomes.
Familiarity with multi-channel communication tools (e.g., virtual, omni-channel, in-person).
Highly organized with exceptional communication, business acumen, and teamwork capabilities.
