Scotlynn is a multinational leader in produce growing and time-sensitive refrigerated transportation services. As part of its growing HR operations, Scotlynn is hiring an Onboarding Coordinator who will play a key role in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

This is a full-time, permanent position located at the company's corporate office in Vittoria, Ontario, with occasional travel for recruitment events such as job fairs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Management: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process including drafting job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding.

  • Talent Acquisition: Build and manage a talent pipeline through job boards, social media, and career fairs.

  • Candidate Engagement: Reach out to candidates proactively, assess their suitability, and present job opportunities aligned with organizational goals.

  • Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and the onboarding team to assess hiring needs and ensure smooth integration of new employees.

  • Systems Management: Maintain accurate candidate data using HRIS and ATS systems.

  • Reporting: Track and report recruitment metrics to support continuous improvement.

  • Compliance: Stay updated with employment laws, company policies, and best practices in hiring.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms

  • Prior experience in recruitment or onboarding considered an asset

Work Schedule:

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

  • Some after-hours and weekend work may be required
