About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper / Office Manager to support our growing operations in Canada and the United States. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Montreal, allowing for a flexible mix of remote work and in-office collaboration.

The ideal candidate has strong bookkeeping skills, experience in office administration, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial and operational functions with minimal supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Finance

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking
  • Support preparation of financial reports and year-end documentation
  • Coordinate with external accountants and tax professionals in Canada and the U.S.

 

Office Management

  • Oversee general office operations, including supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
  • Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) for both financial and operational records
  • Coordinate meetings, travel, and other administrative tasks

 

Cross-Border Operations

  • Support financial compliance and administrative needs in both Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions
  • Ensure timely filing and record-keeping aligned with regional requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping and office administration
  • BS or higher in a business or finance related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar) software
  • Experience supporting multi-entity or cross-border operations is an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and QuickBooks Online
  • Bilingual (English/French) strongly preferred, but not required
