Oci Developer & Administrator

Description:

Raas Infotek is urgently hiring an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Developer & Administrator to design, deploy, automate, and maintain OCI-based cloud solutions supporting enterprise-grade applications and services. The role requires strong cloud architecture skills, infrastructure automation expertise, and deep knowledge of OCI services to ensure resilient, scalable, and secure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available OCI infrastructure solutions.

• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform or OCI Resource Manager.

• Automate deployment pipelines utilizing OCI DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

• Monitor and optimize cloud resources focusing on performance, cost-efficiency, and availability.

• Manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure domains including:

  • Core Infrastructure: Compute, Virtual Cloud Network (VCN), Load Balancers, and Storage (Block, Object, File).

  • Security and Identity: IAM policies, compartments, encryption, and access controls.

  • Developer Services: OCI Functions, API Gateway, DevOps pipelines, and SDKs.

  • Database Services: Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service, Oracle Database Cloud.

  • Monitoring and Observability: Logging, metrics, alarms, application performance monitoring.

  • Governance and Administration: Budgets, quotas, tagging, and resource management.

• Collaborate with development and security teams to enforce compliance and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues.

• Maintain detailed documentation and provide training to internal teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years’ hands-on experience with OCI or comparable cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager.

• Strong networking, security, and cloud architecture fundamentals.

• Practical experience with OCI core services: Compute, VCN, Load Balancer, Object Storage, IAM, and Monitoring.

• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and DevOps tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OCI certifications such as OCI Foundations, Architect Associate/Professional, or DevOps Professional.

• Experience with container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).

• Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Service.

• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

• Strong analytical skills and effective communication and collaboration abilities.
