Your Role as an Occupational Therapist:

 

As an OT with Intuitive Rehab, you will work in home, school, community and clinic settings, using your specialized skills to support clients with a variety diagnoses, including neurological, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, and brain injuries.

 

You will be responsible for the assessment, treatment planning, case management, and collaboration with our other amazing team members, which includes: Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Clinical Counsellors, Massage Therapists, Kinesiologists, Dietitian’s, and Social Workers.

 

Your Core Competencies & Qualifications:

 

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelors/Masters)
  • Registration or Eligibility for CAOT BC and CHCPBC
  • Professional Liability (current)
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
  • Experience working with preschool and school-aged children with special needs (an asset)
  • Experience with case management, insurance claims, assessment and treatment (an asset)
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strength and success in establishing and maintaining client and referral relationships
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimum supervision
  • Confidence in making treatment recommendations and collaborating with other health care professionals
  • Passion for continuous learning and best practices
  • Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) clearance within last 6 months
  • RASP eligibility: 3 plus years of experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder OR willingness to participate in our RASP supervision program (if interested in paediatrics!!)
