Nurse Immunizer

Description:

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking Nurse Immunizers (LPN/RN) to join their community pharmacy-based healthcare team for the upcoming fall/winter flu and COVID booster season. This role focuses on providing vaccination services to the community, including influenza and COVID immunizations, while ensuring patients feel welcomed and cared for.

Responsibilities include assessing vaccination and health status, administering indicated vaccines, documenting immunizations accurately in the ImmsBC system, and collaborating with the pharmacy team to enhance service offerings. These positions are flexible, allowing nurses to work as little or as much as they prefer during the season, providing a unique opportunity for seasonal work in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as an LPN or RN in the Province of British Columbia

• Experience with ImmsBC preferred

• Strong patient care, communication, and documentation skills
