Description:

Veeva Systems, a mission-driven cloud technology leader serving the life sciences industry, is seeking an Engagement Manager to join its Global Medical Business Consulting Team. This fully remote role serves as the strategic owner of medical content and medical information project success, working closely with customers to ensure operational excellence, effective delivery, and business growth. You will oversee large-scale programs, lead project teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to new offerings within Veeva’s Medical Content ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead 1–2 complex customer engagements (~$1M annual revenue) and build senior-level relationships

  • Manage consultant teams ensuring quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction

  • Develop new offerings to enhance client medical content operations

  • Support clients in defining value, KPIs, and adoption of Vault Medical tools

  • Collaborate with product and strategy teams on roadmap and new applications

  • Lead business development: proposals, financials, pipeline creation, customer engagement

  • Partner across business units for broader Medical Affairs initiatives (KOL, insights, CRM, etc.)

  • Contribute to internal best-practice workstreams and team initiatives

  • Travel 20–40% as required


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (required)

  • 8+ years in management consulting or senior medical communications
    OR 5+ years in Life Sciences Medical organization

  • 5+ years working directly with medical content processes

  • Experience with CMS platforms (preferably Veeva Vault)

  • Strong client engagement, workshop facilitation, and advisory skills

  • Expertise in project management, change management, and structured problem solving

  • Ability to mentor and coach junior team members

  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and analytical skills
