Network Deployment Engineer

Description:

Raas Infotek is urgently hiring a Network Specialist (Network Deployment Engineer) for a hybrid contract position based in Toronto, Ontario, with 5 days onsite required in Scarborough or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This role is suited for professionals with hands-on experience in enterprise network environments, vulnerability management, and compliance remediation.

As a Network Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and mitigating network vulnerabilities, ensuring configuration compliance, and maintaining the integrity of infrastructure devices across the enterprise. You will work as a key point of contact for all internal security vulnerabilities and represent the team in regular management and audit discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage vulnerability identification, configuration, deployment, and remediation processes

• Generate configuration compliance reports and define remediation plans for non-compliant devices

• Implement and manage external or managed infrastructure devices

• Conduct security risk assessments and application vulnerability evaluations

• Lead remediation efforts for both internal and external security vulnerabilities

• Act as a liaison for internal vulnerability discussions with senior management, audit teams, and VPs

• Provide regular updates during weekly security review calls

• Maintain an excellent understanding of large-scale enterprise networks

• Work with OEM network hardware, particularly Cisco devices

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong hands-on experience in network deployment, compliance, and security

• Proven experience managing and remediating vulnerabilities in a complex infrastructure

• Effective communicator with the ability to convey technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

• Familiarity with enterprise-grade networking tools and devices
