Responsibilities:

• Preparing and coordinating project estimates while performing detailed cost analysis.
• Collaborating with business development to identify leads, discuss selling points, and develop competitive strategies with vendors and subcontractors.
• Building and maintaining industry relationships and mentoring the estimating team.
• Reviewing bid requests, project documents, and responses to ensure accuracy, address pricing gaps, and meet deadlines.
• Ensuring timely completion of pricing and bid calendars while maintaining resource information.
• Ensuring compliance with requirements and supporting the development of the estimating team.

Requirements:

• Over 7 years of experience in Mining and Natural Resources sectors, with a primary focus on mining projects.
• Expertise in estimating techniques and cost control.
• Proven ability to manage multiple ongoing projects with strong attention to detail.
• Skilled in building relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Experienced in material and labor take-offs and data management in spreadsheets.
