Aon is actively seeking a National Large Market Account Executive to join its Canada-wide Large Market team, headquartered in Calgary. This role is integral to Aon’s strategic growth plans and involves leading service delivery for marquee clients while contributing to new business pursuits across Canada. The successful candidate will be a brand ambassador, championing innovation and helping to refine and implement advanced service models.

The Large Market sector plays a vital role in Canada’s economic and social development, and Aon aims to deliver industry-leading solutions to support these clients. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to make a high-level impact on client experience, account leadership, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key client accounts by delivering exceptional service and developing innovative risk and human capital solutions.

  • Act as a strategic advisor and Aon representative in the Canadian Large Market sector.

  • Support and coach account service teams to apply best practices and deliver client experience improvements.

  • Lead new business opportunities, ensuring value-add differentiators are highlighted in proposals and presentations.

  • Drive client teams to exceed performance expectations and meet or exceed client service delivery commitments.

  • Collect client satisfaction feedback, perform analysis, and report performance against client objectives ahead of stewardship and renewal cycles.

  • Ensure regular updates and reporting to executive stakeholders on account developments.

  • Utilize Aon’s tools, analytics, and platforms to support clients in risk and capital decision-making.

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-renewal discussions to identify short-term goals and long-term risk management aspirations.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience managing large and complex insurance or risk management accounts.

  • Proven track record in client onboarding, education, team leadership, and renewal coordination.

  • Strong expertise in insurance placement, including multinational programs.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results in a collaborative environment.

  • Strong history of new business acquisition, either as the lead producer or a core contributor.
