Cyber Coders, a nationally recognized recruitment firm, is hiring a Mold Design Engineer – Injection Molding on behalf of a leading provider of silicone solutions for Fortune 500 companies in the Medical, Commercial, Consumer Goods, and Electronics industries. The company is recognized for its cutting-edge technology, innovation, and advanced mold development programs.

The Mold Design Engineer will play a vital role in working with both customers and internal teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver custom molds. You will collaborate with internal engineers and tool makers, ensuring that projects move from concept design to production tooling with precision and efficiency. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on design expertise, and the ability to translate sketches into fully designed production-ready models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to design and deliver custom molds.

• Translate design concepts and sketches into detailed models and production tooling.

• Work closely with engineers and tool makers to ensure successful mold completion.

• Provide technical input on proposal development and mold delivery programs.

• Apply GD&T principles, conduct mold design reviews, and perform flow analysis and FEA simulations.

• Ensure that mold design aligns with quality standards, timelines, and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Mold Design Engineer or Mold Designer in an injection molding environment.

• Strong technical expertise in plastics or silicone injection molding.

• Proficiency with Solidworks or similar CAD software.

• Knowledge of GD&T, mold design review, flow analysis, and FEA simulation.

• Experience collaborating with engineers and tool makers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
